Du 24 septembre au 13 octobre venez découvrir l'exposition MICRO_MAPP au Livart avec les artistes Étienne Varin, Isotone, Dalkhafine et Thaïla Khampo. Le thème de l'exposition sera Perspectives qui incite à la remise en question, à l‘exploration des dédales de la conscience et à embrasser la richesse infinie des interprétations.


● Étienne Varin
Chef d'orchestre de la lumière, du son et de l'image, qui puise son inspiration dans la beauté des ailes de papillons, dans l'iridescence des flaques d'huile et dans la réfraction des gouttes d'eau. Toujours à la recherche de médiums sortant de l'ordinaire où exposer non pas seulement ce qui fait plaisir à l'œil, mais surtout ce qui fait plaisir au cœur. Ce qui importe, c’est de catalyser des émotions chez le spectateur, faire résonner ses intentions colorées, et venir toucher le regard de ceux qui s'offrent le temps d'observer.

Le Tape Mapping fusionne l'art mural traditionnel et la technologie, en métamorphosant de simples tracés en une série de compositions vivantes et captivantes.
Une succession de projections animées peindra la fresque, transformant ainsi les motifs statiques qui la composent en un environnement évolutif, tridimensionnel et hypnotisant.


● Isotone
D’une intention comme direction, d’un point vers une forme, de la technologie vers l’émotion, Isotone explore des océans numériques à la recherche de nouveaux horizons créatifs. Nos créations se dessinent par l’expérimentation, sillonnant librement au travers des multiples savoirs-faire des arts numériques. Par la diversité de nos origines artistiques, nous cherchons à tisser une pratique unique liée par les multiples interactions de nos expériences. De la création visuelle à la composition musicale, de la programmation à la peinture, nous mettons toujours la technique au service du sensible; un art numérique en quête de poésie. Comme le prolongement des liens qui nous unissent, nos projets portent en eux les marques de l’écoute, du respect et de la considération dont nous faisons preuve au sein du studio. Isotone est composé de Félix Bonjour, Hugo Fournier, Lilian Guiran et Bar Rubinstein. Fondé à Montréal en 2018, nous partageons aujourd’hui notre activité entre le Québec et la France.

● Dalkhafine
Franco-canadienne basée entre Paris et Montréal, Dalkhafine se distingue en tant qu'artiste multidisciplinaire. Après une expérience dans le live show et le cinéma d'animation, elle développe un univers artistique singulier, caractérisé par des collaborations avec des marques (Adobe, Adidas, Redbull), ainsi qu'avec des artistes musicaux (Jain, Pharrell). Inspirée par les années 90 et guidée par son désir de transmettre un message positif, son travail est marqué par l'utilisation de couleurs vives et de contours noirs. Peu importe le domaine qu'elle explore, son amour pour l'art et le dessin demeure le fil conducteur. Que ce soit à travers la direction artistique, l'illustration, le motion design ou la peinture, elle aborde chaque médium comme un terrain de jeu infini pour sa créativité. https://www.instagram.com/dalkhafine/


● Thaïla Khampo
Thaïla Khampo est un illustrateur de Montréal. Il aime les motifs, le mystère, les belles histoires, l'art naïf, l'humour caustique, la simplicité et les images qui racontent des histoires.

From September 24 to October 13 come and discover the MICRO_MAPP exhibition at Livart with artists Étienne Varin, Isotone, Dalkhafine and Thaïla Khampo. The theme of the exhibition will be Perspectives, an invitation to question, to explore the labyrinths of consciousness and to embrace the infinite wealth of interpretations.


● Étienne Varin
Conductor of light, sound and image, who draws his inspiration from the beauty of butterfly wings, the iridescence of oil puddles and the refraction of water drops. Always on the lookout for out-of-the-ordinary mediums in which to exhibit not just what pleases the eye, but above all what pleases the heart. What's important is to catalyze emotions in the viewer, to resonate with their colorful intentions, and to touch the eyes of those who take the time to observe.

Tape Mapping merges traditional mural art with technology, metamorphosing simple outlines into a series of vibrant and captivating compositions.
A succession of animated projections will paint the mural, transforming its static patterns into an evolving, three-dimensional, and mesmerizing environment.


● Isotone
From intention to direction, from point to form, from technology to emotion, Isotone explores digital oceans in search of new creative horizons. Our creations are shaped by experimentation, wandering freely through the myriad know-how of the digital arts. Through the diversity of our artistic backgrounds, we seek to weave a unique practice linked by the multiple interactions of our experiences. From visual creation to musical composition, from programming to painting, we always put technology at the service of the sensory; a digital art in search of poetry. As an extension of the ties that bind us, our projects bear the hallmarks of the listening, respect and consideration we show within the studio. Isotone is made up of Félix Bonjour, Hugo Fournier, Lilian Guiran and Bar Rubinstein. Founded in Montreal in 2018, we now divide our activity between Quebec and France.

● Dalkhafine
French-Canadian based between Paris and Montreal, Dalkhafine distinguishes herself as a multidisciplinary artist. After experience in live shows and animated films, she developed a singular artistic universe, characterized by collaborations with brands (Adobe, Adidas, Redbull) and musical artists (Jain, Pharrell). Inspired by the 90s and guided by her desire to convey a positive message, her work is marked by the use of bright colors and black outlines. Whatever the field she explores, her love of art and drawing remains the common thread. ● Thaïla Khampo
Thaïla Khampo is a Montreal-based illustrator. He loves patterns, mystery, beautiful stories, naive art, caustic humor, simplicity and images that tell stories.
