Montreal Cultural Calendar

Join us on Tuesday May 12th at In My Lane Queer Bowling at Bowling G Plus for an evening of bowling with fellow queers. Doors at 6:30pm, bowling starts at 7pm until 10pm. We are starting at 7pm sharp so we have enough time to play 3 games. The first game is a practice round and game 1 and 2 is a friendly competition among your peers. The Constellation kick off bike ride/beach hang. Meet at 5pm, departure at 5:30pm SHARP. We will ride bikes to a sketchy beach on the voie maritime. The sketchy beach is magical with best view of the city and the sunset. The bike ride is about 12kms and is mostly flat. We can ride bikes the whole way there. At the end we have to descend a small steep hill and short walk along a path to the water. The accessibility of this terrain depends greatly on the weather immediately before the event (it could be muddy, slippery, overgrown, or dry and very passable). We don't know what beach we will exactly end up on, as this depends on the conditions the day of. Should arrive by 6:30. You can also get there by walking, or taking public transit part of the way and then walking 6-8 kms. No bathrooms, no running water, no services of any kind. Nearest store is 10kms away. RAIN OR SHINE. Things to bring: Water, Snacks, Firewood, Sunscreen (if sunny), Long sleeves and pants (if cool and/or buggy), Bugspray, Lights for the ride home, Friends, Swimming gear (if you wanna swim), Something to sit on, Toilet paper, Games!
