Pour notre Exposition de vitrine d'hiver, qui se tiendrade la mi-dcembre 2025 au dbutjanvier 2026, nous invitons les candidates, qu'il s'agisse d'artistes ou de collectifs, proposer des uvres autour du thme : INVERSE. Nous recherchons des propositions qui jouent et explorent les notions d'intrieur et d'extrieur, qui jouent avec le fait de rvler ce qui est habituellement cach et de dissimuler ce qui est normalement expos. De l'intrieur l'extrieur, du haut l'envers, le thme invite aux inversions et aux interventions qui remettent en question la manire dont les choses sont habituellementprsentes, redfinissent la relation entre des opposs supposs.

Winter Window Exhibition

For our Winter Window Exhibition, mid-December 2025 to early January2026, we are inviting applicants,both individual artists and collectives, to propose works around the theme: INVERSE. We want proposals that play and explore notions ofinside and outside, that play with revealing what is usually hiddenand concealing what is normally on display. We want to see the inside out and the upside down, inversions and interventions that question how things are normally presented, that redefine the relationshipbetween supposed opposites.

Vernissage: We Saw The Sun by Megan Wade-Darragh
November 14th (6-9pm)

Visual Arts Building VA-102, 1395 René-Lévesque Blvd W, Montreal

We Saw The Sun is an interdisciplinary project combining drawing, printmaking, and painting. It centers on light and movement as both subject matter and material. The project investigates image instability, media decay, and recollection, emphasizing that memory is both recalled and constructed. The works trace how these dynamics unfold through processes of erosion, intervention, and transformation, while examining the interplay between spontaneous occurrence and conscious construction.

The Montreal Scientific Game Jam will be present at the Researchers' Night! We'll be showcasing two of the video games produced: Super Flower Conservationist Turbo, a game about how plants adapt to their environment, and Metromotions, a game about the impact of plants on emotions.
