Join us for a community stitch pop-up! We're co-creating a Bayeux-style stitched tapestry about Canadian wool – beautiful and sustainable! Embroider stories that depict histories and futures of this miracle fibre, which is biodegradable (no plastics!), anti-bacterial, flame-retardant, insulating against both heat and cold, and can be the basis of regenerative agriculture that nourishes our soil! Vernissage: Body-Subject/Le Corps Propre by Joe Espada

Body-Subject/Le Corps Propre explores the body as both a repository of personal history and a medium for expressing identity, connection, and emotional traces. The works investigate how the body, as a subject, carries desires and the remnants of lived experiences, revealing often-hidden aspects of selfhood. Each piece explores the tension between what is visible and what remains concealed, reflecting how the body both holds and communicates these intangible aspects of our inner lives.

Vernissage: Poiesis to Praxis

Curated by Maggie Rossy-Aulman, Poiesis to Praxis is an interdisciplinary exhibition exploring what happens when art moves from creation to action. Bringing together emerging artists from Montreal and beyond, the show investigates the dynamic relationship between aesthetics and social engagement: How does making become doing? When does reflection shift into embodied practice? Can artistic experience itself spark community impact?
