Montreal Cultural Calendar

La librairie Mes Pants de Queer, en partenariat avec Espace Transmission, présente la première édition hivernale du Festival TRUXX, un événement artistique et communautaire qui se tiendra du 5 au 7 décembre 2025 à Montréal / Tiohtiá:ke.

Nommé en référence au bar TRUXX, site emblématique de la répression policière de 1977 et déclencheur d'une mobilisation fondatrice pour les droits des personnes gaies au Québec, le festival continue d'incarner un espace vivant de mémoire queer et de création actuelle.

Named after the TRUXX bar, a landmark site of police repression in 1977 and a catalyst for a foundational mobilization for gay rights in Québec, the festival continues to embody a living space of queer memory and contemporary creation.
