Montreal Cultural Calendar

Six years ago a hundred people crammed into a small art space in Hochelaga, braving a typical Montreal blizzard, for the inaugural Egg The Poet, celebrating poetry and community and the birth of the city's newest literary journal. It's in this spirit that Yolk Literary has carried on over six years, amplifying the voices of writers and artists in Montreal and beyond. The event will have live music, dancing, pop-up poetry, limited edition merch, light food, beverages, and free goodies, and Yolk's first art exhibition since 2021.
