Piknic Électronik Montréal

Through a series of four outdoor concerts in the parks of Plateau-Mont-Royal, come and meet artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. Each concert celebrates cultural diversity at the crossroads of musical traditions from around the world. Musical Stopovers is a series of four open-air concerts presented in the parks of the Plateau-Mont-Royal neighbourhood, creating intimate moments of connection between artists and audiences in the heart of the community. Each stopover highlights a musical tradition performed by exceptional artists: Sarah Borna (kamanchen – Persian music), Deo Munyakazi (inganga and vocals – Rwandan music), Ran Wang (guzheng – Chinese music), and Charles Cantin (traditional Quebec violin). All concerts are accompanied by percussionist Ziya Tabassian, fostering a meaningful dialogue between cultures. This concert, dedicated to traditional Quebec music, will be performed by the duo Charles Cantin and Ziya Tabassian. As part of the Cultural Action Support Program. Cancelled in case of heavy rain.
