I Trespass Through The Lens considers the potential of experimental cinema to link the parallel geopolitical histories of Palestine and Sudan. Through time and testimony, collective imaginaries converge and enter the frame. This screening is organized by Regards Noirs and members of Regards Palestiniens.

Developed in conjunction with Satellites! — a previous exhibition at Emporium Builder Supplies — this event is a screening of three works by Michael Snow. Snow, an artist and filmmaker working throughout the mid 20th century in Canada sought to use a medium's materiality to draw attention to the sensory experience of viewing art. This selection of his 16mm films also features a discussion with André Habib, professor and historian of art and film; writer and experimental filmmaker Clint Enns; and researcher Léa Jusseau.
