Second edition of LUDODROME. Last year the event brought together more than 44 local experimental game makers and more than 450 visitors for a day of socializing, networking and fun!

Du 11 au 13 juin, les Ateliers Belleville et Eastern Bloc présentent une fin de semaine de célébrations pour l'ouverture officielle du LAB-545 : un nouveau lieu de création indépendant à Montréal. Trois jours de programmation déployée sur plusieurs étages : exposition collective, ateliers ouverts, visites, musique, rencontres et création en direct. Trois soirs de performances présentées par le festival SIGHT+SOUND, une 14e édition par Eastern Bloc réunissant neuf duos d'artistes issu·es des scènes numériques, sonores et expérimentales. Un moment rare où le public est invité à entrer au cœur des espaces de travail, des ateliers de fabrication et des univers des artistes qui habitent le lieu.

As part of the PHI residency project "Spectres of a Shared Future" by the artist collective Spoonful of Dirt (Andrea Williamson and Nina Marisa Pariser), the collective will present an afternoon and evening of activities that will explore urban rewilding and multispecies habitats at the Champ des Possibles. There will be animal stories told by Carol Kawisente McGregor of the Coyote program and member of the Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) Nation, live radio broadcasting and interviews with CJLO, a BioBlitz with Fusion Urbain Nature and a screening with Pedalbox Gallery presenting Spoonful of Dirt's PHI residency project, featuring a sound piece by Spoonful of Dirt and Divine Foray, followed by Emma Davie and Peter Mettler's film Becoming Animal (2018).
