Un programme festif, entre projections mapping, performances de musiques électroniques, stands de nourriture, ateliers de création et de sérigraphie dans une ambiance de fête de quartier !

La 9e édition sera sous le thème 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 qui incite à la remise en question, à l‘exploration des dédales de la conscience et à embrasser la richesse infinie des interprétations.

A festive program, between mapping projections, electronic music performances, food stands, creative and screen-printing workshops in a neighborhood party atmosphere!

The theme of the 9th edition will be 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, an invitation to question, to explore the labyrinths of consciousness and to embrace the infinite wealth of interpretations.

Voix montante de la musique indépendante et de la scène humoristique canadienne, Eve est l’animatrice et la créatrice de Ten Minute Topline avec CBC Music et la directrice du Symposium de POP Montréal.

POP Symposium brings together people to discuss the most pressing issues facing music and art communities. This year, we are thrilled to present some of our most ambitious programming yet. With panels on everything from the state of live music venues to DIY scenes across the country, artist talks, and practical workshops, Symposium has it all. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or an emerging artist, an industry pro or simply industry-curious, someone with strong opinions or open to new perspectives, we hope you join us at this year’s POP Symposium!

About the curator: Eve Parker Finley is a noted Montreal musician and comedian. Her work has been featured on CBC, Canada’s Got Talent, Elle Canada, Exclaim!, Xtra, and other outlets. A rising voice in the Canadian indie music and comedy scenes, Eve is the host and creator of Ten Minute Topline with CBC Music and the Symposium Director at POP Montreal.

Le mercredi 25 septembre de 17h30 à 22h aura lieu la 2ème édition du Tournoi inter-studio de Ping-Pong sur table augmentée dans les studios de Moment Factory.

🪩 Pour cet événement, on vous embarque dans une vibe musicale inspirée des années 90 et on vous invite à vous fondre dans cette ambiance avec plus beau style!

Cette activité ludique organisée par MAPP_MTL avec la collaboration de Moment Factory dans le cadre de la 9ème édition du Festival MAPP_MTL a pour but de rassembler les studios en créativité numérique dans un contexte convivial afin de déterminer officiellement quel studio est le meilleur au ping-pong.

📢 APPEL AUX STUDIOS DE CRÉATION NUMÉRIQUE
Chaque studio peut inscrire 2 représentants mixtes pour participer à ce tournoi. Le tournoi commence par une phase de qualification (partie de 11 points), où les 8 meilleurs studios participeront à la ronde d'élimination (11 points, meilleur de 3) et à la finale (11 points, meilleur de 5).

Tous les fonds collectés pour cette soirée seront versés à l'organisme à but non lucratif MAPP_MTL afin de soutenir la production de ses activités.

On Wednesday, September 25, from 5.30pm to 10pm, the 2nd edition of the Inter-Studio Augmented Table Ping-Pong Tournament will take place in the Moment Factory studios.

🪩 For this event, we're bringing you a musical vibe inspired by the 90s, and inviting you to join in the fun in style!

This fun activity organized by MAPP_MTL in collaboration with Moment Factory as part of the 9th edition of the MAPP_MTL Festival aims to bring digital creativity studios together in a convivial setting to officially determine which studio is the best at ping-pong.

📢 CALL FOR DIGITAL CREATIVE STUDIOS
Each studio can register 2 mixed representatives to take part in this tournament. The tournament begins with a qualification phase (11-point game), where the top 8 studios will compete in the elimination round (11 points, best of 3) and the final (11 points, best of 5).

All funds raised for this evening will be donated to the non-profit organization MAPP_MTL to support the production of its activities.
