⭕️ABOUT THE CLASS:
Qi-Flow - a blend of Qi-Gong and Contact-Improvisation - a technique developed by Saule.

It is an exploration of somatic movement that begins with a connection to Qi, the vital energy in the body. It is an invitation to pause, listen to oneself, and thus develop an intimate friendship with one's body and mind.

⭕️SAULE:
Saule Ikigai is fascinated by the human body from a somatic perspective. As a massage therapist, she teaches Yoga & Qi-Gong. She also practices TaiChi and various forms of dance. All of these elements add diverse and complementary flavors to her workshops. She is passionate about creating and facilitating workshops. In her experience: Love'n'Light Festival (Qi-Flow and Loving Touch), Wøm-Féminitude Retreat (Intuitive Dance), Wømboost Retreat (Moxibustion and Contact Improv), I am Gathering (Contact-Improv and Qi-Gong), Wild Women Retreat (organizer and facilitator: meditation, yoga, icy water immersion).

Qi-Flow - un mélange de Qi-Gong et de Contact-Improvisation - une technique développée par Saule.

Il s'agit d'une exploration du mouvement somatique qui commence par une connexion au Qi, l'énergie vitale dans le corps. C'est une invitation à faire une pause, à s'écouter soi-même et ainsi à développer une amitié intime avec son corps et son esprit.

Saule Ikigai est fascinée par le corps humain d'un point de vue somatique. En tant que massothérapeute, elle enseigne le yoga et le Qi-Gong. Elle est passionnée par la création et la facilitation d'ateliers. Drawing from his roots in Toronto and a lifelong love of records, H3avy blends musicality, storytelling, and impeccable crate-digging into every set.

oin us on Saturday 16 August for an exhibition tour, film screening, coffee tasting, and conversation, in collaboration with Dispatch Coffee. Expanding on our exhibition and film, With an Acre, this event series considers agriculture, land stewardship, and global interdependence through coffee production in Brazil.

Each session invites 25 visitors to join a guided tour of the exhibition, with a screening of the film featuring Carla Juaçaba’s work, followed by a coffee tasting led by Dispatch Coffee co-founder Chrissy Durcak. This experience will feature a curated coffee from smallholder farms in Minas Gerais, Brazil—showcasing the region and communities at the heart of With an Acre. Following the tasting, guests are invited to join a virtual Q&A with a guest speaker from within the Brazilian coffee value chain, offering deeper insight into the realities and relationships behind the beans. Through this tasting, Dispatch and the CCA invite guests to experience coffee not just as a product, but as a reflection of place and cultural and ecological narrative.

Each session includes a 50-minute screening, 30-minute guided tasting, and 40-minute conversation with a coffee producer.

These events will be held in English and are free of charge, but space is limited, so registration is required. Admission to the museum is included in your registration.

If the activity you are interested in is full, do not hesitate to arrive 10 minutes in advance to register on a waiting list. It is possible that places will become free before the beginning of the activity.

Ces univers prennent vie sur scène pour rappeler combien le jeu vidéo, à sa manière, dialogue avec le monde vivant.

From the enchanted forests of Zelda to the underground chambers of Hollow Knight, to the lush planets of Super Mario Galaxy and the meditative dunes of Journey, the Video Game Orchestra gives us a musical odyssey in which nature becomes breath, movement and memory. These virtual worlds are brought to life on stage, reminding us how, in their own way, video games interact with the living world.
