There will be lots of food, crafts, music, and much more. The Panache Pop Up will feature all local artisans. articule a le grand plaisir d’accueillir l’exposition Wetlands de l’artiste Fenyx Florentiny @fenyx.vf à partir du vendredi 20 mars prochain dès 17h.
— Ce projet explore une généalogie queer et décoloniale à partir de récits sensoriels liés aux territoires traversés entre la Martinique et le Québec. Ce ne sont pas de simples décors géographiques mais des territoires sensibles qui façonnent le genre autant qu'ils sont façonnés par lui. Entre ces deux rives circule une mémoire poreuse, une identité en transit. À travers une installation immersive et évolutive mêlant son, texte, bioplastiques, objets organiques et images, l'artiste propose un laboratoire vivant où poésie, méditation guidée et récits aquatiques s'entrelacent. L'exposition invite à une expérience corporelle et collective, où les visiteur·euse·s deviennent partie intégrante d'un écosystème queer en mutation.

articule is delighted to welcome the exhibition Wetlands by artist Fenyx Florentiny @fenyx.vf , opening on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 5 PM.
— This project explores a queer and decolonial genealogy based on sensory narratives linked to the territories traversed between Martinique and Quebec. These are not mere geographical settings but sensitive territories that shape gender as much as they are shaped by it. Between these two shores circulates a porous memory, an identity in transit. Through an immersive and evolving installation combining sound, text, bioplastics, organic objects, and images, the artist offers a living laboratorium where poetry, guided meditation, and aquatic narratives intertwine. The exhibition invites visitors to engage in a physical and collective experience, where they become an integral part of a changing queer ecosystem.
Workshops open to everyone and hosted by the artist: Thursday, March 26, Thursday, April 9, Saturday, April 18, and Thursday, April 23, 2026. More information to come.

Event by Liz Waterman. BedRot is a 24-hour endurance performance from 7:00 PM on Friday, March 20 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, taking place at Eastern Bloc. Throughout the duration of the work, the artist Aphex Redditor will remain in a bed installed within the gallery, continuously scrolling through Instagram Reels from a newly created account. The evolving content stream is projected on the wall behind her, enabling audiences to observe both the videos she consumes and her passive physical state in real time. Over the course of a single day, viewers witness the Instagram algorithm shift from relative neutrality to a more refined and homogenized feed shaped by accumulated data. As platforms tailor content according to inferred demographics such as age, economic status, and gender, the artist anticipates repeated exposure to material aligned with dominant cultural norms, subtly reinforcing prevailing ideals, behaviours, and modes of self-presentation. By staging prolonged digital consumption as live spectacle, BedRot foregrounds the algorithm as an invisible yet powerful cultural agent. The performance renders perceptible the mechanisms through which visibility is curated, revealing how personalization tools actively shape our collective value systems. Ce supergroupe montréalais s'appelle PYPY (π π). Leur musique est un mélange de sons wah-wah sinistres, agrémentés de distorsion et des cris nécromantiques de la co-chanteuse Annie-Claude Deschênes. Un univers surréaliste et trash-futuriste, créé par les esprits fous derrière CPC Gangbangs, Red Mass et Duchess Says. Des breaks super disco rappelant le dance punk du légendaire label new-yorkais 99 Records (ESG/Liquid Liquid) s'entremêlent à des hymnes psychédéliques. La pop tonitruante de leur tube « She's Gone » s'est même taillé une place dans le monde de la mode haut de gamme, devenant la bande originale du défilé Yves Saint Laurent en 2016.
General Fools est un groupe punk originaire de Sherbrooke, reconnu pour son énergie explosive et ses performances complètement débridées. Actif depuis les années 90, le groupe s’est taillé une place dans la scène underground québécoise avec un son percutant, des textes engagés et une attitude résolument rebelle. Leur retour sur scène a ravivé l’enthousiasme des fans de la première heure, rappelant l’impact de leurs albums cultes comme Sarcasme et Pathétik Pik-Nik. General Fools demeure…

The film explores contemporary life, technology, and how meaning is constructed in the 21st century. Director Mary Louise Schumacher filmed passionate dialogues with renowned critics, including Jeneé Osterheldt (The Boston Globe), Carolina A. Miranda (Los Angeles Times), Hrag Vartanian (Hyperallergic), and Jen Graves (The Stranger), to name just a few of the art world figures who appear on screen. The film also draws on a nationwide survey Schumacher conducted with more than 300 art critics. The Catalogue Raisonné Collective is a project of Artist Presence Online and Archives (APELA). APELA is based on the conviction that it is essential to document, interpret, and celebrate the unprecedented explosion of contemporary artistic practices over the past 60 years. The role of APELA and the Catalogue Raisonné Collective is to examine in depth the work of individual artists—by bringing together their archives and creating comprehensive retrospective websites. "Out of the Picture" highlights the evolving role of art criticism and writing about art. The Catalogue Raisonné Collective seeks to answer the following question: what new structures could support art critics, curators, and historians in the future? About the artists:


~FROTAE is a sonic laboratory and sacred playground. Five saxophonists create sound that enhances physical and auditory phenomena, instigating a visceral response within the listener. A totally acoustic expression in close proximity to the audience confers an immersive experience where sound is felt, where the listener can be carried into and through the sound.

~Jeremy Young is a maker of concrète electronic tape music from Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, Quebec. He is a member of the poetry_sound duo Cloud Circuit, the electroacoustic modern classical trio Sontag Shogun, and library music waveriders Associated Sine Tone Services. His latest full-length recordings are Cablcar, issued by Halocline Trance, and Masses, issued by We, Here, & Now Recordings.

In order to make the event financially accessible while contributing to the livelihoods of participating artists, we ask that you consider the following criteria when choosing your ticket price from the suggested price range below:
Solidarity 25: If your net income is $38,000 or more per year, please choose Solidarity 25. By purchasing this ticket, you are helping to make the event accessible to others by promoting free or affordable access. Thank you!
Solidarity 20: If your income is between $30,000 and $34,000 net per year, please choose Solidarity 20. By purchasing this ticket, you are helping to make the event viable. Thank you!
Solidarity 15: If your income is lower, we encourage you to choose Solidarity 15. These contributions make the event run smoothly.
Finally, our event applies a NOTAFLOF policy: No one is turned away for lack of funds. If you are experiencing financial difficulties or particular hardship, we still want you to participate in cultural life. Come on out!

~Jeremy Young est un créateur de musique électronique concrète sur bande magnétique originaire de Tiohtià:ke/Montréal, au Québec. Il est membre du duo poésie-son Cloud Circuit, du trio électroacoustique classique moderne Sontag Shogun et du groupe de musique de bibliothèque Associated Sine Tone Services.
