Keynote speakers: Kim Stanley Robinson and Annalee NewitzAs we face the climate crisis, pessimistic, depressing, even nihilistic narratives dominate our global discourse, driven by scientists reporting facts and projections. How we tell that story, makes a difference. We need a range of moods and voices, and to include optimism, survival, resilience, transcendence and positivity, to carry us through dark times and help us make tough choices. The science fiction community has understood this. Hopepunk is a speculative fiction genre dedicated to positive narratives of social change and transformation,  emphasizing empathy, kindness, community, and care. Over two days in October 2023 (12th and 13th), Montreal 2140: Hopeful Futures in Science and Storytelling will bring together writers, researchers, and students across disciplines to tackle key questions at the nexus of storytelling and the climate crisis.

Volume 6 MTL ! From October 10 to 15 2023, Montreal’s art publishing festival and conference will explore the world of Art and the Book, culminating in a free Art Book Fair on October 14 and 15 at Casa Italia, 505 Jean-Talon E. from noon to 6 p.m. (Free Admission).
Applications for tables at the art book fair are open until October 2 on this site, volumemtl.art .
For artists, publishers and the public, Volume 6 MTL is not only an opportunity to present new publications, but also to network, discover new work and share knowledge and news.

C’est l’automne qui arrive et avec, le bilan de fin de l’année pour Recyborg. C’était une année intense avec beaucoup de nouveaux partenaires ayant des tonnes de matières à valoriser.

4 nouveaux membres incroyables se sont joints à notre équipe cette année et nous avons amélioré les espaces de travail pour répondre au besoin des particuliers, organismes et entreprises désireux d'arrêter de prendre la planète pour un dépotoir!

Cet agrandissement vient avec des risques surtout dans une économie précaire où les PMEs tombent comme des mouches. C’est pourquoi nous lançons une série d’activités de sociofinancement cet automne. Nous faisons appel à votre soutien pour nous donner le boost nécessaire pour finir notre année sans se brûler à la tâche.

4 amazing new members have joined our team this year and we have improved the workspaces to meet the needs of individuals, organizations and businesses who want to stop taking the planet for a dump!

This expansion comes with risks, especially in a precarious economy where SMEs are dropping like flies. That's why we're launching a series of crowdfunding activities this fall. We are calling on your support to give us the boost we need to finish our year without burning out.
