Rebecca Ramsey sintresse au phnomne de la circulation travers une pratique sculpturale, utilisantla cramique comme vecteur dexprimentations matrielles et conceptuelles. Quils soient biologiques, nergtiques ou minraux, les flux en mouvement permettent lartiste de tracer des analogies entre les organismes biologiques et les diffrents systmes circulatoires du monde construitet naturel, comme larchitecture, la plomberie et le cycle gologique. Intimement lis, le corps et le bti se servent constammentde modles en rvlant des systmes similaires et leur rapprochement permet de comprendre des cycles plus larges de transformation et de circulation. Inspir principalement par la philosophie et lanthropologie, il cherche largir la comprhension de la composition sonore travers des perspectives cologiques etrelationnelles. Dans le contexte de la crise climatique actuelle, la pratique de Chioini remet en question lopposition traditionnelle entre nature et culture en explorant comment lart sonore peut servir doutil de mdiation et de transformation de ces relations.Sa mthodologie combine la recherche thorique avec des pratiquescratives pour lieux spcifiques, incorporant souvent des lments performatifs et participatifs.En dehors du milieu acadmique, il poursuit ses projets de musiquelectronique et exprimentale sous le nom S. Chioini et avec le collectif Humidex.

"Rebecca Ramsey explores the phenomenon of circulation through her sculptural practice, which makes use of ceramics as a conduit for material and conceptual experimentation. Whether biological, energetic or mineral, flowsallow the artist to draw analogies between biological organisms andthe various circulatory systems of the built and natural world, such as architecture, plumbing and the geological cycle. Viewed as intricately interlinked, the body and the built environment constantly serve as models that reveal similarsystems. Through the exploration of oral tradition, and family archives, the memories of elders become vehiclesto transport us through time and space. The word; which holds the generative energy of creation itselfacts as a mnemonic device, storyteller and guide; a juxtaposition to the aural quality of the other-worldly. is acomposer and sound artist. His research-creation project integratessound composition within an interdisciplinary framework. He is currently a PhD candidate in Music Composition and Sound Art at the Universit de Montral. His researchexplores the relationships between sound, the environment, and social dynamics. Drawing inspiration from philosophy and anthropology, his work aims to expand the understanding of sound composition through ecological and relational perspectives. In the context of the current climate crisis, Chioinis practice challenges the traditional divide between nature and culture by examining how sound art can serve as a tool for mediating and transforming these relationships. Hismethodology combines theoretical research with site-specific creative practices, often incorporating performative and participatory elements.

MIKE CLEMOW (they/he) is a transdisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. They make performances and installations using sound, text, images, and found objects, creating improvised and speculative sites from documents of experience. Their work addresses the historyof media and examines the material conditions and contexts of the creative process. Clemows work engages concepts of access, and privilege, and challenges entrenched binary ontologies such as nature/culture, human/non-human, subject/object. Clemows work has shown recently in group shows at UnionDocs (NY), the Gadsden Museum of Art (AL) and the Reina Sofia Museum (Madrid).

JENNGROSSMAN is an experimental composer, audiovisual artist, and soundsculptor based in Brooklyn, NY. She is concerned with sensory media's expansive physical and psycho-spatial potentials within a cultureof commodification, transforming "every-day" materials into affective, emotive sound vessels and simple ephemera into transportive audiovisual experiences. She's recently presented at SARC's Sonic Lab inBelfast, Ireland, for Roulettes MATA festival in Brooklyn, the Light Matter Film Festival at Alfred University, NY, and the Re-embodied Sound Symposium at EMPAC in Troy, NY. She curates regularly withher group WISE, highlighting women/non-binary artists working in experimental sound and media arts.

MATTHEW D. GANTT is an artist, composer, and educator based in Troy, NY. His practice focuses on sound in virtual spaces, generative systems facilitated by idiosyncratictechnology, and digital production presets as sonic readymades. He worked as a studio assistant to electronics pioneer Morton Subotnickfrom 2016- 2018, releases music with Orange Milk and Oxtail Recordings, and teaches experimental composition and media in various intuitional and DIY contexts. Ganttswork has been featured in The Wire magazine, Pop Matters, Exclaim!,Tiny Mix Tapes, Bandcamp New, andNotable.

AMANDA GUTIRREZ explores the experience of political listening and gender studies by focusing on soundwalking and radio practices. Her artistic works had been showcased internationally in art residencies like FACT in Liverpool, UK, ZKM in Germany, TAV in Taiwan, and Bolit Art Center in Spain. Additionally, her sound artwork has been exhibited at various international venues, including The Liverpool Biennalein 2012, Harvestworks in NYC, SBCGallery, Undefined Radio in Montreal, Errant Bodies Studio Press inBerlin, POP Montreal, the City ofWomen Festival, and the To)POT Festival in Ljubljana, as well as the ENSEMS Music Festival in Valencia, Sur Aural in Bolivia, and the Tsonami Sound Festival in Chile.

JUSTINEDURAND lives in Montreal. Her artistic approach is based on the mixing of analog signals from videos synthesizers and digital remodeling resulting in a minimal and hypnotizing atmosphere. Since 2016, shehas made several live performances, music videos and video installations.

AZIZ BOUGHEDIR is a PhD candidate in arthistory and sociology at the Universit de Montral and a Tunisian artist based in Montral. His research and artistic practice explore the construction of social conventions and art networks under colonial and dictatorial regimes. Heexamines the temporality and authoritarian dimensions of communication technologies, focusing primarily on tube television. His artistic approach integrates sociologicaland historical perspectives with sculptural and analogue video techniques.
